Terms of Payment
Welcome to Midlands Carpet Cleaners. By using our services, you agree to the following terms of payment:
- Payment Due Upon Completion Payment is required in full immediately upon the completion of our services. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated during the booking process.
- Late Payment Policy If payment is not made immediately upon completion of the service, a late payment fee of 10% of the total bill will be added. This additional fee will apply to the outstanding balance and must be settled immediately.
- Payment Methods We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Bank Transfers (prior approval required)
- Invoices and Receipts Upon request, we will provide an invoice or receipt for all services rendered. Please ensure your contact information is accurate at the time of booking.
- Cancellation and Rescheduling Any cancellations or rescheduling must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
6.Cancellation, Delays & Deposit PolicyAll cancellations or rescheduling requests must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time.
Where a deposit has been paid, this deposit is non-refundable in the following circumstances:
• If the customer cancels on the day of the appointment
• If our team has already travelled to the property
• If we have attended the property more than once due to rescheduling
• If cancellation occurs after confirmed communication and arrival, even where delays were caused by traffic or circumstances outside our control
7. Service Delays
While we always aim to arrive on time, delays can occasionally occur due to traffic, road incidents, or unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases:
• We will communicate clearly and promptly
• Arrival times will be updated and agreed where possible
• A delay does not constitute a cancellation or fault on the part of Midlands Carpet Cleaners
If a customer chooses to cancel after our team has travelled or arrived, the deposit will be retained to cover travel time, fuel, scheduling disruption, and lost appointment time.
8. Fair Use of Deposits
Deposits are taken to secure bookings and protect against last-minute cancellations. Where we have acted in good faith, communicated clearly, and attended as agreed, the deposit will be deducted from the final balance or retained where cancellation occurs outside our policy.
