What started in 2021 with a Google Business Profile, a phone and the determination to provide a better standard of service has grown into Midlands Carpet Cleaners as it stands today.

From that first sofa clean in Burton-on-Trent, one customer led to another. Five-star reviews began to build, recommendations followed, and MCC started growing quickly across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.

One of the biggest reasons for that growth has always been customer service.

From the beginning, I made a commitment to be available for our customers. On one of our very first websites, I remember writing that whether it’s a Bank Holiday or Liverpool are playing football, I’ll still answer the phone. That might have sounded like a small thing, but it represented exactly what I wanted MCC to be about — being there when our customers need us.

That approach continues today. From the moment a customer first contacts us through to the moment our team arrives at their property, we believe in communication. Customers should know what’s happening, when we’re coming and what to expect. If something changes, we keep them updated.

The same standards apply once we walk through the customer’s door. Our team is expected to treat every customer’s home or property with the same care and respect they would their own. Our standards are deliberately high because the Midlands Carpet Cleaners name goes on every job we complete.

As demand grew, so did our services. We progressed from domestic carpet and upholstery cleaning into deep cleaning, end-of-tenancy cleaning and commercial cleaning, supporting homeowners, landlords, letting and property management companies, offices, schools and other commercial premises.

Our team continues to grow, but we don’t grow simply for the sake of getting bigger. Anyone joining MCC has to meet the standards our customers have come to expect. New team members go through trial and training periods, learning how we work, how we communicate with customers and the level of finish we expect before representing the company independently.

Recognition has followed that growth. After receiving our first award in 2022, Midlands Carpet Cleaners has continued to receive business and industry recognition — something I could never have imagined while waiting for those first phone calls in 2021.

But the principle behind MCC hasn’t changed. Whether we’re cleaning one sofa in a family home or delivering a major commercial project, every customer should receive a service we’re proud to put the Midlands Carpet Cleaners name to.

From one customer in 2021 to a multi-award-winning business today — we’re proud of how far we’ve come, but we’re still building.
